During the temporary closure of the Embassy of Italy in Kabul, according to the article 6.2 of the Regulation (EC) n. 810/2009 (Community Code on Visas), Afghan citizens may apply for visas at the Italian Embassies and Consulates in third countries where they are “legally present”.
