“BUSINESS INSIGHTS FROM ITALY – A LETTER TO INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS” OCTOBER 2025

The October issue of “Business Insights from Italy – A Letter to International Investors” is now available. The magazine is dedicated to the Italian macroeconomic context, highlighting the remarkable performance of the national stock market compared to other major European indices since the beginning of 2025. This is followed by an in-depth look at the 2025 public budget: on October 2, the Government presented the Public Finance Planning Document (DPFP), outlining the fiscal policy margins for the coming years by balancing European constraints with measures to support growth and social cohesion. Finally, the sectoral focus is on life sciences — pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medtech — a growing sector in which Italy ranks fourth in Europe for the number of patents and is experiencing strong growth in venture capital investments, which reached around 375 million euros in 2024 (+54% compared to 2023).
