The Embassy of Italy hosted a fully-booked talk with Rossella Miccio, President of Italian NGO Emergency, and Dejan Panic, Country Director for Afghanistan.
Sharing the experience of the Kabul Surgical Center and other medical facilities run by Emergency in Afghanistan, Miccio and Panic talked about providing free and quality healthcare to victims of war and poverty, training local staff and working on long-term projects.
Italy, through the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), contributes along with other donors to support the activities of Emergency in Afghanistan.
