On the occasion of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, Ambassador Ugolini was hosted at the Australian Mission together with Colleagues from Netherlands and Republic of Korea, for a meeting with UNAMA and UNHCR representatives from Kabul.
With a special focus on the rights of women and girls, their access to education and their freedoms, the commitment to work “by women, for women” has been reiterated, within multilateral and bilateral frameworks, in favour of the participation of Afghan women in public life and to promote equal opportunities around the world.
